The Province of Nova Scotia restricts political contributions to recognized parties. Only residents of Nova Scotia and certain corporations, partnerships and trade unions cam contribute to recognized parties. The law limits an individual's or organization's total contributions to $5,000 in a calendar year. If you do not meet the contributor eligibility requirements contained in the Members and Public Employees Disclosure Act a contribution cannot be made or accepted.
